- Name - James Rex-Alexander Grimley
- Age - 17
- Gender - Male
- Weight - James weighs roughly a hundred and eighty lbs
- Height -six feet two inches
- Eye Color - blue
- Hair Color - black
- Tattoos -none
- Piercings -none
- Appearance - James has stunning blue eyes that reflect light and tend to show more emotion than his body language and facial expressions combined. They often hold a very intense look to them and usually shine when he laughs. James has fair features and usually some form of facial hair. His hair is black and longer than expected though it's usually gelled back and well kept. As well, his body is a bit on the thin side though that's hidden under lean muscle. His body is well-built due to the fact he’s a swimmer and hopes to make it to the Olympics. James is around six feet tall and weighs roughly a hundred and eighty lbs. His skin color is light but still holds a tan.
James’ body is a little more disrupted than most. It has a few more scars than the average human being. It is more along the lines of a mural of scars. Ranging anywhere from a burn scar across most of his upper body, to a few scars on the back of his hands origintaing from knives. Because of such, he’s extremely self-conscious of his body and wears clothes that cover almost all of his scars. Even when he swims, he wears a shirt long enough to cover most of the scars on his torso though usually doesn't cover the ones along his hands.
- Personality -
NUMBER SMART – James enjoys numbers more than people, if he can find himself anything like math or since, he’s a real whiz kid but he isn’t so great at the things you need to have an opinion for such as English and social. With math and science, there’s always one definitive right answer and it just takes time to work out, but when it’s an opinion-based question, James struggles a bit more.
PATIENT – As long as James has something else to think about, he’s excessively patient. He picked up the trait because sometimes he needs others to show a little patience towards him, but he’s really just trying to be caring and understanding and therefore tries to give people some space.
COLD – James rarely gets mad, but when he’s mad at someone, his temper is complicated. He won’t utter one word to whomever he is mad at, but his physical actions show a different side and no matter what happens he will always help. The only sure way to tell if James has forgiven someone is if verbal communication is taken up again.
LOST – James’ whole world shifted 180 degrees when he was sixteen and now he has to live with all of these different relatives and most of them don’t care for him. Most of the time, he feels awkward and unsure about how he fits in and all he really wants to do is just belong. He jjust tries to be invisible and stay out of everyone’s way, but sometimes, he just gets confused.
- History - James was born on a farm just outside of a small town in Texas. He was born to Fiona and Kalan Grimley. Fiona and Kalan’s personalities were quite opposite. Kalan was irrational at times and very abusive towards both his child and his wife, while Fiona was a kind and gentle homebody who would never dare hurt anyone. When James was born, his mother began protecting him against his father and would pay more attention to the child than Kalan. That’s when the arguments went from bad to worse and one night, Kalan hit his wife so hard, the blow killed her.
Kalan enjoyed the feeling of power, the feeling of control. Killing quickly became a passion of his, but he was rather smart at it as well. He didn’t want to kill his son, who he hoped would be his legacy, but he did want him to understand exactly what Kalan was doing. Every victim he had was precise and copied the killing of another serial killer before him. He always made James do the research as James grew up. It was as though James was the assistant to all this. And included in the murders, but at truth, his father enjoyed torturing James as well.
His father imitated the killings of such serial killers as Jeffrey Dahmer, Ted Bundy and David Berkowitz, having close to a dozen victims before he was caught. During most of his killings, he would abuse his son as well. One evening, he literally lit James on fire. That was the worst night of his life.
The only comfort James ever found was in swimming and comics. The only place he was able to swim was the small pond near his land. Other than school, James never left his home, he was far too afraid to defy his father. Finally, one night, the cops found Kalan guilty of murder and he ended up getting a double life sentence, leaving James broke and alone at sixteen. From then on he was passed from family member to family member until he was old enough to come to Forks and take care of his mute aunt. Now James just wants to forget his past and be left alone.
- Likes/Dislikes -
- Fears -James has a fear of letting anyone in because of his little secret. He fears that if people know about his family’s past then maybe they’ll treat him differently in some way that’ll ruin the relationship he has with that person.

- Weaknesses -
- Secrets - His whole past is a secret.
- Favourite Colour -
- Code -Meyer
- Example Post - James felt his body purposefully gasp for air as his head slid underwater again. He moved his arms almost mechanically in the water of the pool. The water was a place to escape school, and his uncle and everything. He could just count strokes and breathe in the right places. It was the last two lengths out of the hundred that he did and he was only breathing every four breaths. His chest began hurting near the end of the way back. It always did. Holding your breath for that long wasn’t something a normal human being could do. It took him years just to be able to hold his breath for this long, now all he had to do was accomplish the task of holding it just a few more strokes without pain and he’d try a four strokes per breath with six lengths instead of five.
James crawled out of the community pool and smiled at the usual life guards who were getting used to seeing him. They weren’t really on duty when he was the only one swimming; they trusted him not to drown himself. It was a good feeling. He never got that while he was living in Seattle, or Baton Rouge or any other of the last two places he’d lived. Now he had to move to Forks with his aunt. It seemed like the kind of town you could move to and just disappear. James slowly made his way to the showers and let the water run across his body as he cleaned his goggles. His eyes fell on the tile that seemed as though it were all around him as he quickly changed in the locker room. No one was ever there but him, he wasn’t worried about questions of his body. James reached into his jeans and pulled out the grocery list his ucle Mike had given him: pills, milk, vegetables, cereal, potatoes. Nothing special. James gave another glance at the pool before turning and heading into the snow. He loved the snow. It was a reason to wear long sleeves.
